  2. He is also New Zealand's youngest ever National champ.

  3. As sponsored by advertisers, he started to participate in worldwide championship,
  4. and used to rank 43rd worldwide.
  5. But now the host of the competition has changed the rule and only allows the top 32 players to join the competition,
  6. making the Maori surfer lose the opportunity to play in the worldwide championship,
